Portland Review, 14 Feb 2016

Robert Gene Blair, Portland, age 68, passed away on Sunday February 7, 2016.  He was
born on August 31, 1947 in Dresden, Ohio.  Robert retired from the U.S. Army as a
Staff Sergeant serving in Alaska, Georgia and Germany and also retired from the U.S.
Postal service where he was a rural carrier for the Grand Ledge Post Office.  He
enjoyed cooking, hunting and a occasional trip to the casino.

Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Sandy; daughters Tori Blair and Libby Blair;
brothers, Rick (Carol) Blair of Virginia and Dan (Rhonda) Blair of Arizona;
sisters-in-law Pam (Phillip) McCrum of Portland and Barb (Bill) Case of Lapeer,
several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1-5 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the
Portland Area Service Group, 144 Kent St., Portland.  In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made to Ionia Co. 4H Endowment Fund or the Portland High School
Band in memory of Robert.
