He was 52 years of age and leaves his widow Lera (Foght) and five children, Harold who is a minister at Ogden Center; Hale, a radio man of Sheridan, Wyo.; Mrs. Hazel Bos, and two sons Herbert, 17, and Clare, 14, of Kalamazoo. The funeral was held at the Black funeral home in that city and burial was in Riverside cemetery there. The deceased was the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Foght, living just northwest of this village.
