Bert Blank, 72 Died Last Thursday
Bert Blank, 72, resident of Clarksville for many years passed away Thursday at
Pennock hospital after a long illness.

He was an employee of the Corduroy Cord Tire Co. in Grand Rapids for 14 years and 
previous to that he was employed by the Reo Motor Co. for a number of years. Mr.
Blank was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Brethren church.

Surviving are his wife Ethel; two step-daughters, Mrs. Jay Erb of Freeport and Mrs.
Dalton Stahl of Clarksville; three step-sons, Loren Gray of Clarksville, Gordon Gray of New
Jersey and Burton Gray of Lowell; a sister Mrs. Tressie Donahue of Bentley and two
brothers, Carl of Kalispeel, Mont., and Harry Blank of Lansing.

Funeral services were held on Sunday at 2:30 at the Clarksville Bible Church with
burial in the Clarksville cemetery. Rev. C.A.Flowers and rev. Max Ovenshire officiated.
