Belding Banner, 26 Jun 1913

Mrs. Henry Blassen died at her home near Smyrna, Monday, aged 82 years.  She
with her husband, who died four years ago, came to Otisco nearly sixty years ago
and was one of the fine old pioneer settlers.  Her son, Theodore, has always
lived with her.  The funeral was held in the Catholic church at Miriam this
morning at ten o’clock.  She leaves four sons, Nicholas, Peter, Theodore and
Joseph Blassen.
