Wallace Z. Bliss, 76, former resident of Saranac, died at his home in Sheridan 
Sunday morning, March 10.  He was born in Orange township, the son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Joseph Bliss.  About 40 years ago he moved to Sheridan where he has since 
remained.  His occupation was farming.  For several years he had been in 
failing health.  Mrs. Bliss died about 15 years ago.

Surviving are three sons, Fred of Jackson, Leo of Sheridan, and Guy of Alva, 
and one daughter, Mrs. Alvin Lund of Flushing.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Stebbins funeral chapel 
in Sheridan.  Interment was also at Sheridan.  Rev. LeRoy Robart of the Free 
Methodist church officiated.
