          OBITUARY
               ----
   Inez Irene Buxton, daughter of Perlington and Curtis Buxton was born in Berlin
township, Ionia county, 
August 27, 1880.
   Living on the same place until sixteen years of age when she was united in
marriage September 22, 1895 to 
John Bliss, who was then living in Berlin township, Ionia county.
   To this marriage was born one daughter, Leah, who was married to Egler Ward.
   The daughter preceded the mother to the Other Shore about ten years ago, leaving
a daughter, four days 
old, named Irene, who has always lived with her grandparents.
   Mrs. Inez Bliss died at her home in Odessa township, December 15, 1928.
   She is survived by her husband and granddaughter, Irene, one sister. Mrs. Nellie
Hicks, Lansing, and two 
brothers.  Handford Buxton of Jackson and Bert Buxton of Springdale, Washington.
   The service was conducted from the home by Rev. M. H. Dawson and burial in the
Lakeside cemetery.
   Those from out of town in attendance were: a sister, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hicks of
Lansing; a brother, Mr. and 
Mrs. Hansford Buxton of Michigan Center; Mr. Bliss's sister, Mr. and Mrs. Warren
Hibberd; another brother. 
Robert Bliss and daughter; a brother-in-law, Wm. Emmons; an aunt Cora Ferham of
Ionia; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis 
McIntyre of Battle Creek.
                                CARD OF THANKS
   We wish to thank the neighbors and friends for the flowers and other kindness;
also the minister and singers 
at the time of the illness and death of our wife and grandmother.
