The Ionia County News, Thursday, December 20, 1945
John Bliss, 73, died at his farm home northwest of town Wednesday evening 
following several moths of illness.  

Survivors are a son, Robert, of Ionia, and a son, Frank, and granddaughter, 
Mrs. Gilbert Noyes of Lake Odessa.  

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Beattie funeral home in Clarksville 
with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
