                                 Iris L. Blocher

Iris L. Blocher, 86, of Woodland, passed away Saturday,Dec.18, 2010, at Pennock 
Hospital in Hastings.

She was born Oct. 29, 1924, in Woodland Township, the daughter of James and 
Daisy (Hynes) Guy.

Iris worked as a secretary with the State of Michigan Transportation Department 
for many years before her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Richard,Ralph, Paul and Jack 
and her sister, Mary.

Surviving are her daughters, Susan Wolowicz and husband John of Middleville and 
Lori Grove and husband Arlen of Lake Odessa; son, Jim Blocher and wife Sandy of 
Oregon City, Oregon; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, 
Geraldine Bever of Ft. Meade, Fla., and brother, Linden Guy and wife Polly of 
Lansing; and sisters-in-law, Marjorie Guy of Stanton and Lorine Guy of Woodland.

Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec.22, 
at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, 
Dec.23, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake 
Odessa.Interment to follow at Woodland Memorial Park.

Society.
