Blochowiak, 64, veteran of World War I, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 4, at 10:45 a.m. in a Greyhound bus station at Muskegon. He had been visiting his daughter, Mrs. Robert Fields, in Muskegon and was enroute to visit his son, Eugene (Jim) in Lake Odessa. Mr. Blochowiak was born October 27, 1890, in Toledo, Ohio, and had lived most of his life in Ionia county. He had been a resident of Lake Odessa for three years and was a member of the Lesky-Dulek Chapter D.A.V. of Ionia county. Surviving besides his daughter and son are two grandchildren, and two sisters and one brother in Toledo. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 at Pickens funeral chapel with burial at Alto cemetery near Lowell.
