The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, June 17, 1989

John Kevin Blodgett, 40, of Ionia, died June 15 in Jackson as a result of an 
auto accident.  He was born Nov. 24, 1948 in Jackson, the son of John W. and 
Jean Blodgett.   He was employed at Riverside Correctional Facility.

Surviving are one son, Michael John Blodgett; his mother, Jean Blodgett of 
Jackson; one brother, Howard Blodgett of Jackson; two sisters, Anne Pelton of 
South Lyon and Casey Stevens of Jackson.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Queen of the Miraculous 
Medal Church of Jackson.  Burial will be in South Jackson Cemetery.  Rosary 
will be Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Desnoyer Funeral Home, 204 N. Blackstone, 
Jackson.  Friends may visit the family at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. 
Saturday, and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.  Memorial contributions 
may be made to a charity of choice.
