June 1, 2010 Goldie May Brown Bloomfield, 102 of Ionia, wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother passed away on Saturday May 29, 2010. She was born on Nov. 21, 1907 in Carson City the daughter of John and Pearl (Loucks) Musser. Before 1927, Mrs. Bloomfield lived in Carson City, Stanton and the Greenville areas and then moved to Palo until 1984 when she arrived in Ionia. She was a great homemaker and also drove school bus for Palo Schools and retired as a seamstress from the Chrysler Trim Plant in 1973. She was a self taught piano player, who could recite poems up to the very end. She married Lloyd I. Brown and he preceded her in death. She then marry Ray Bloomfield and he also precede her in death, along with two sons, Harold (Jenice) Brown and Eugene Brown. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
