RITES AT PORTLAND FOR FORMER RESIDENT

Funeral services were held Monday, January 17, for Eva M.Blossom, 91, of 
Portland, at the Neller Funeral Home at Portland with burial in the Portland 
Cemetery. Rev. Harold Homer of the United Methodist Church officiated.

Mrs.Blossom was born October 25, 1885 in Ionia County, the daughter of Hiland 
and Mary (Helmer) Andrews and had been a resident of Portland for many years. 
She was a local resident during her early life and was well known by many of the 
older residents. She passed away at the Ionia Manor, January 15 after being 
hospitalized at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

Surviving are: a son, Gilbert Brock of Arizona; two grandchildren, Harold Brock 
and Anita Bower; also six great-grandchildren.
