Lois, with the occasional help of her sister, Mrs. Jessie Higgins, had been keeping house for her father and family since the death of her mother a few years ago. She was taken ill with scarlet fever a little over a week ago and had been in very serious condition for the past week with special nurses on duty. Surviving besides her father and sister, Mrs. Jessie Higgins, is her twin brother, Louis, and another brother, Andrew. Burial service was held Tuesday at the Belding Cemetery.
