Lowell Ledger, 11 Oct 1917

Mrs. Sarah Blough, one of the pioneer residents of Keene township, died at the
old farm home Tuesday, October 2, and 11:30 o’clock, aged 77 years.  She was
born in New York state Feb.  17, 1840, and came to Michigan at an early day. 
She was highly esteemed for her many good qualities and was a kind neighbor and
friend to all in the community.  The funeral was held at in the Easton church at
2 p.m., Friday.
