Fred John Blough, age 92, of Saranac, passed away November 28, 2004 in Grand
Rapids.  He was born February 10, 1912 in Keene Township the son of Frank and
Melvina (Evans) Blough.  He attended Tasker School.  Fred was a self employed
farmer and he retired from Lack’s Industries in Cascade.

He is survived by his daughters; Diane Sue Blough and Richard Bast of Grand
Rapids, Jennie Lou (Mark) Anderton of Oregon; brother, Andrew Blough of
Kentucky; special sister-in-law Hazel Lumley of Bear Lake, Molly Blough of
Lowell; brother-in-law Ken (Dorothy) Ritenburgh of Florida; grandchildren Diana
Lynn Blough of Muskegon, Kenneth Anderton, Kelly Jean Anderton, Reid Anderton,
Elliot Anderton, Gus Anderton, Vincent Anderton all of Chiloquin, OR; many
nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys, step-daughter
Verity Jean Ries, five sisters and three brothers.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia
with Pastor Sam Butler officiating.  Interment River Ridge Cemetery in Belding.
