He was born April 16, 1890, the son of Samuel and Sarah Bentler Blough. He was employed from 1913 to 1933 at the Clarksville Bank. He then purchased the service station at US16 and Nash road which he operated until his retirement in 1950. He was a member of the Clarksville lodge F & AM for more than 60 years and was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star. He was married in 1938 to Eva Jane Babcock, who died September 2, 1960. He leaves a sister-in-law, Mrs. Richard Blough of Grand Ledge and a nephew of Flint. There are no immediate survivors. The body will be at the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel at Clarksville until Saturday morning when it will be taken to the Clarksville Bible church. Services will be Saturday at 1:30 pm at the church. Rev. Elwood Norton will officiate. Graveside services at the Clarksville cemetery will be under the auspices of the Clarksville Masonic lodge.
