Belding Banner-News, Dec 1967

Thomas Lee Blount, 9, of 6926 Storey Road, was dead on arrival at Belding
Community Hospital, Wednesday, December 13, after being struck by a car at
Cook’s Corners.

Christian Science services were held Saturday, at Fitzjohn-Courser Funeral Home.
 Officiating was Mrs. Mary Payne, Reader.  Interment was in Otisco Township
Cemetery, Ionia County.  Pallbearers were Duane Jewell, Bernard Jewell, Lewis
Marcellus and Franklin Edwards.

Thomas Lee Blount was born June 10, 1958 at Belding.  He was a fourth grade
student at Cook’s Corners school and a member of the Christian Science Sunday
school.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Allen Slosser; his father, Thomas Blount; one
step-sister, Julie Slosser; one brother, Michael and two step-brothers, David
and Gary Slosser; by his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Thelma Blount, Belding; his
maternal grandmother, Mrs. Hazel Tucker, Belding and his great-grandmother Mrs.
Peter Trumpower, Lake Odessa.
