She had been a patient at Ionia County memorial hospital since Sunday and was transferred to Grand Rapids Tuesday. Born in Lyons, April 13, 1888, she was the daughter of Julius and Mary Pfiffer May. She lived and attended school in Lyons area until married to Warren Blow at Church of Christ in Ionia in 1906. They made their home in Ionia until his death in June of 1930. She left Ionia in 1935 to make her home with a son, Warren Blow, in Detroit. She was a member of Ionia chapter of Macabees and former member of Church of Christ of Ionia, now First Christian church. Surviving are three sons, Leo Blow of Dearborn Heights, Warren Keith Blow of Detroit and Eugene of Union Lake; daughter, Mrs. Eileen Loca of Dearborn Heights; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at First Christian church. Rev. Theodore Forbes will officiate and interment will be at Lyons cemetery. Family will be at Leddick funeral home Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. ---- Funeral services for Mrs. Flora L. Blow were held at 1 p.m. Saturday from First Christian church, under auspices of Leddick funeral home with Rev. Theodore Forbes officiating. Organist for the service was Sara Jane Carpenter. Bearers were Mrs. Blow’s grandsons: James, Richard and Warren Blow, and Charles, Lawrence and John Loca. Following graveside services in Lyons cemetery, a lunch was prepared and served at the home of a family friend Norbert VerPorter at 422 State street, Ionia.
