Raymond W. Blumberg, 75, formerly of Ionia, died Monday in Flint.

He was born the son of Emery and Margaret Luther Blumberg on May 16, 1916, in 
Entrican.  He worked for 38 years for General Tire.

He is survived by his wife Victoria; three daughters, Joyce Schultz of Lapeer, 
Rochelle Stone of Ionia, and Marilyn Thompson of Pennsylvania; six 
grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers; Harvey of Bay City and 
Ted of Ionia; four sisters; Florence Bentley of Ithaca, Jennie Eckley of Ionia 
and Nina Welker and Emma Stowell of Florida.  He was preceded in death by two 
brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday at the Myers Memorial Chapel, Ionia, with 
the Rev. Kendall Harger officiating.  Organist will be Renata Conrade.  The 
soloist will be Max Palacious.  Burial will be in Orleans Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Larry Ingvartsen, Wally Ingvartsen, Eddie Ingvartsen, Billy 
Bentley, Kenneth Bentley, and Eddie Bentley.  Honorary Pallbearer is Scott 
Thompson.  The family will be at the Main Street Chapel from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 
8:30 pm Thursday.

A memorial has been established for the Shiloh Community Church Memorial Fund, 
in care of the funeral home.
