Lake Odessa Wave
     FREEPORT MAN IS KILLED IN ACCIDENT
   Larry W. Bllulndell, 22 of Messer Rd. Route 1, Freeport was killed instantly in
an accident Saturday afternoon.  The accident happened in Boston Township, on Portland Rd. 
near Jackson rd. between his car and a truck. Coroner Richard Hull of Muir and the State 
Police of the Ionia post investigated.
   He was born May 2, 1947 at Hart, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Roy Blundell and attended
school in Florida.  He was employed by the Oldsmobile in Lansing.
   Surviving are his wife, Helen; a fifteen month old daughter; four step-children,
Elizabeth, Lori, Edward and Jeffery Mallison, all at home;  a sister, Mrs Donald Davis of 
Muskegon and three brothers, Richard of Chicago, Ill., Gordon of Muskegon, and Ronald of 
Belding, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs Harvey Riley of Inverness, Fla.
   Funeral services were held at 1:30 Wednesday at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, Lake
Odessa.  Rev. Donald Mathis officiated with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
