She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs.Ed potter and was born in Indiana June 18, 1873 but came to a farm near Fenwick with her parent when a child and lived there until she was 16 years of age when they moved to this city. She married Leon Bly November 19, 1898 and the couple lived for many years at 527 Crooks Avenue. They moved to Grand Rapids in 1938 where Mr.Bly passed away 10 years later but she continue to live there at 225 S.Division, which was her home at the time of her death. Mrs.Bly is survived by one daughter, Mrs.Ed Petersen and one son, Clifford Bly and four grandchildren, Caroline Petersen and Kenneth, Barbara and Donald Bly all of this city. The remains were taken to Springs Funeral Home at 814 Jefferson S.E.in Grand Rapids from which place the funeral will be held on Saturday at 1 o'clock. Burial will be in Shanty Plains cemetery southeast of Fenwick where graveside services will be held about 2:30 on Saturday.
