Blystone, a former Belding man, had occurred at the family home, 676 W. Main street, Ionia, Thursday evening following a lingering illness. Mr. Blystone was born in Brown township, Pennsylvania, in 1862. He was a resident of the Kiddville neighborhood for a number of years and was employed in the basket factory. Since moving to Ionia in 1910 he had been employed by the Ypsilanti Reed Co. Funeral services were held from the late home Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock and from the I. H. A. mission at 2:30 with Rev. John Youngs officiating. Surviving besides the widow, Mrs. Flora Blystone, is a son, Harold, at home; and a daughter, Mrs. Aldon Heald, of Grand Ledge; also two brothers, Grant Blystone, of the Ashley neighborhood and Roy Blystone of Yale, and a sister, Mrs. John Elliott, of Coleman, South Dakota.
