Ionia Sentinel Standard – Wednesday, 4 December 1957

Funeral services for Mrs. B. Maude Borden, 83, of Palo, were conducted by Dr. 
John Austin and the Rev. Harvey Johnson of Palo, Tuesday at 2:30 pm at the 
Palo Baptist church.  Mrs. Borden died Sunday, December 1.  Organist was Mrs. 
Blanche Tasker of Palo.  Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Ionia.

Bearers were George Tasker, Claude Newman, Nathan Greenhoe, Don Fancett and 
Glenn Ackerson of Palo and Matt Miller of Pewamo.

Attending from out of town were Mrs. Shirley Eliason of Warren, Ohio, Mrs. 
Mable Ludwick of St. Johns, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Stevens of Allegan, Mr. and 
Mrs. George Whitmore and Harry McGowan of Vickeryville and Mr. and Mrs. Matt 
Miller of Pewamo.
