The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, November 15, 1938

Funeral services for the late Fred P. Boardman, Ionia business man who died 
suddenly Sunday morning as the result of a heart attack, will be held 
Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the Ionia Baptist church. 

Rev. George Woolcock, pastor of the Baptist church and Rev. Earl Kneebone, 
pastor of the Episcopal church, will conductt the services.  Burial will be at 
the Saranac cemetery.
