IONIA SENTINEL STANDARD, June 2, 1904: "Maggie, wife of Phil Boardman, and
daughter of Mrs. Ellen Hickey, E. Main street, died on Wednesday. She was 36
years old, and leaves a husband and six children to mourn her loss. She also
leaves four sisters: Mrs. Ed Kelly of Grand Rapids, Mrs. M. Sheehan and Misses
Lucy and Anna Hickey of this city; and one brother, John C. Funeral service will
be held at 8:30 tomorrow morning, at Catholic church."
