She was born Nov. 24, 1883 in Grandville. She attended Grandville schools and was married to Herman Bocks in 1924. He proceeded her in death in 1947. Mrs. Bocks was a retired telephone operator and had lived in Muskegon and Holland before moving to Ionia in 1971. She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Grandville and the Rebekah Lodge of Holland. She is survived by 19 nieces and nephews; 41 great nieces and nephews; 62 great-great nieces and nephews; and 13 great-great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services were to be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir officiated by the Rev. Paul Carmichail of the Lyons Baptist Church, assisted by Charles Witmar. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Grandville Cemetery with the Rev. Ronald Zartman of the First Reformed Church of Grandville officiating.
