The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, January 6, 1992

Roy E. Bodman, 53, of Lansing died Saturday at St. Lawrence Hospital, 
Lansing.  He was born on April 25, 1938, in Grand Rapids, the son of Chester 
and Mary Neilson Bodman.  He was graduated from Ionia High School and was a 
laborer for a Lansing construction company.

He is survived by his mother; two sons, Timothy of Sheridan and Leroy 
McAllister of Ionia; three daughters, Teresa Shaw of Stanton, Tamara Western 
of Greenville, and Kristi of Greenville; four brothers, Robert, Richard, 
Harold and Chester, all of Ionia; three half brothers, Joe Miler of Ionia, 
Charles and George Miller, both of Saranac; three sisters, Shirley Shattuck of 
Ionia, Carol Wakefield of Long Lake, and Pennie Rivers of Sumner; and two half 
sisters, Iva Bennett and Dorothy Chase, both of Saranac.

Cremation will take place.  Graveside services will be held at Highland Park 
Cemetery in the spring.  Arrangements were made by Hull Memorial Chapel of 
Muir.
