JAMES ALAN BOERSMA of Lake Odessa 
Died Thursday, March 3, 2016-age 67
Preceded in death by parents, Julius and Evelyn Boersma, brother, and his companion
dogs.

Survived by his daughter, granddaughter, brothers, sister-in-law, nieces & nephews
James served with U.S. Marines as a Helicopter Crew Chief in the Vietnam conflict

Visitation Sunday 4-6 p.m and one hour prior to service at the funeral Chapel
Funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst chapel, Cascade
rd, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Rus Boersma officiating 

Military honors under Kent County Veteran Honor Guard. Interment Cascade Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ionia County Animal Shelter or Barry County 
Animal Shelter, Industrial Park Drive, Hastings
