The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 24, 1941

Arthur Ray Bogert of North Plains township died Sunday evening at the Ionia 
community hospital after a brief illness.  He was born July 12, 1871 in 
Bloomer township in Montcalm county, the son of Richard and Rhue Ann Decker 
Bogert.

Surviving are two brothers, Emery J. of Palo, and Richard C. of Lyons, and a 
half-brother, Orson, of Bloomer township.  He had never married.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. form the Palo Methodist 
church.  Interment will be at the Palo cemetery.
