Ionia Sentinel-Standard, January 12, 1980
Ney C. Bogert, 84, 11407 Sloan Road, Hubbardston, died Friday at the Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 17, 1895 in Bloomer Township (Montcalm County), the son of 
Orson and Emma Bogert. He was a lifelong resident of Bloomer Township, where he 
was also a farmer.

He was married to Berneice Bowers in 1929 in Ionia. She survives him.

Others survivors include two sons; six daughters; 17 grandchildren and 210 
great-grandchildren.

A sister and two children preceded him in death.
