The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, July 24, 1954
Funeral services for Richard C. Bogert, who died Monday evening at the Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital, were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the 
Lyons Baptist church with the Rev. Maurice Horn officiating assisted by the 
Rev. Robert Eaton.

Vocalists were Norman Wakefield and Wayne Thomas and the organist was Mrs. 
Clarence Potter.  Bearers were Harold Wandel, Kenneth Wood, Norman Wakefield, 
William Thomas, Clarence Potter and Lawrence Albright.  Burial was at Lyons 
cemetery.
