Boice, of Palo, aged 22 years. The remains, after short services at the residence of Myron Gardner, where the deceased had made his home while in this place, Rev. C.C. Miller officiating, were taken to Palo, Tuesday morning, for interment and where funeral services were held Wednesday. The deceased had been in this city about 8 months in the employ of M.E. Fanning & Co. as cashier and bookkeeper in which he was thorough and competent. During his residence among us he became known as a thorough gentleman and had made many warm friends, some of whom sadly followed the remains to their last resting place. His father and mother were with him during the last week of his illness and are bowed with grief over the loss of a noble and beloved son.
