Bolenbaugh, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carrol Smith, Friday, October 8th at 10:30 a.m. Mrs. Bolenbaugh lived all of her 76 years in this vicinity, having been born in Otisco township. She had made her home with her daughter and family for the past eight years. She leaves to mourn the loss of a devoted mother, another daughter, Mrs. Leo Elsbey, of Kalamazoo. A son, Guy, passed away last June; five grandchildren, Mrs. Donald Reed, Pfc. Richard Elsbey, Mrs. Ralph Runyan, Lt. James Bolenbaugh and James Smith, and one great grandchild, Richard Lynn Runyan. Services were in charge of the Fales funeral home where they were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock, Rev. H.S. Ellis officiating. She was laid to rest in Otisco cemetery beside her husband who preceded her in death many years ago. Honorary pallbearers were D.D. Skellenger, Lake Odessa; W.D. Sinclair, Sand Lake, and Wm. Orser of Belding. The acting pallbearers were Arthur James, L.A. Rowley, Verne Brown, John McNaughton, John Wilson and Jay Outman, all of Belding.
