Miss Maggie Bolender died at her home in the village of Hubbardston Tuesday morning. The funeral services will be held at her home Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Miss Bolender was born in Stark county, O., October 5, 1856. In 1880 she came to Michigan with her parents. They settled on a farm one-half mile south and one-half mile east of Hubbardston. She lived there until 1904 when she moved into the village. Miss Bolender leaves two brothers, Frank, of Kalamazoo, and Milo, of Grand Rapids, besides her sister, Hattie, with whom she has always lived. The two sisters were known about the vicinity for their team work in charity, in ministering to the needs of the sick, and their devotion to the Methodist Episcopal church.
