WAYNE BOLEY, 82
Wayne Everett Boley, age 82, of Ionia, MI., passed away peacefully at home with
family June 23, 2018.

He was born on March 7, 1936, in Northfield, OH, the son of Frend and Eva (Ball)
Boley. He married Heidi Keller on March 7, 1959. Wayne worked for the prison for 24 years He
also repaired appliances in the Ionia area for years. He was a par golfer, loved to boat
and water-ski when he was younger.  

Surviving Wayne are his loving wife of 59 years Heidi Boley of Ionia; children
Michele Boley of Ionia, Robin (Paul) Marhofer of Ionia, Lisa (Bruce) Sexton of Lansing, Scott
(Alana) Boley of Kalamazoo, Wayne (Tammy) Boley of Fenwick, Kevin (July) Boley of Portland; 
grandchildren Kevin Z, Jordan B, Sarah M, Brian Z, Kierstin B, Tyler Z, McKenna B,
Zack B, Tyler B, Emily B, Wesley L, Nate Z, Jacob S, Lauren B, Erika S, Benjiman M; brothers
Larry Boley, Gary Boley and sister-in-law Kate Boley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Beverly (Bud) Barber, brother Robert
Boley and sister-in-law Rose.

Funeral services will be held at the Lake funeral home in Ionia on Saturday June 30,
at noon with Father Tom Brown officiating, Interment Mt. Olivet cemetery. Visitation will be
Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, those wishing may make
memorial contributions to Sparrow hospice or a local hospice. Online condolences may be made
