Ionia Sentinel Standard
          KATHLEEN MARY BOLLINGER  1938 - 2016
   Kathleen Mary Bollinger, aged 77 of Ionia, passed away Oct. 15, 2016.  She was
born Dec. 28, 1938 in Providence Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.  She was adopted 
at the age of 6 weeks by two terrific parents, John and Mary (Yuchaus) McIlhargey.
   Her children and grandchildren were her life.  She loved her Irish Heritage and
was our sweet Irish Rose.
   Kathleen married Bud Bollinger Sept. 7, 1957.  She was a member of SS Peter &
Paul Catholic Church in Ionia.  Kathleen loved doing yard work, tending to her 
flowers and playing on her I-pad.
   Surviving are her husband of 59 years Bud Bollinger of Ionia; children Debbie
(Steve) Walter of Ionia, Stephen (Connie) Bollinger of Ionia and Cindy (Pat) Keating 
of South Carolina; grandchildren Nicole Walter, Ryan (Royale) Walter, Matt Walter, 
Katie (Kurtis) Dollison, Rudi Bollinger, Bridgett Bollinger, Alysha Bollinger, 
David Bollinger, Maggie Munchy, Aiden Munchy, Stacy Christie and Brandy Pearce; nine
great grandchildren; brother Charles (Barb) McIlhargey of Plymouth; brother and 
sister-in-law Bruce and Nancy Bollinger of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
   Upon her request there will be private family services.  Those wishing may make a
memorial contributions to SS Peter and Paul School or Glitter and Gold Childhood Cancer 
Foundation. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.  Online condolences may be made
