Bollinger, 64, of 5325 Orleans road, died Tuesday at United Memorial hospital in Greenville. He was born March 24, 1904 in Ferris township, Montcalm county, the son of John and Eva Bollinger. He was a member of the Belding Sportsman’s club, master of the Orleans grange and member of Orleans volunteer firemen and Orleans Civil Defense group. September 28, 1929 he was married in Carson City to Hazel Selleck who survives. He also leaves five daughters, Mrs. Dale Johnson, route 3, Ionia, Mrs. Carl Bredesen of Pensacola, Fla., Mrs. Leslie Doty of Orleans, Mrs. Floyd Hopkins of Sheridan, Mrs. Harold Lee of Coral; 18 grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Lena Oswald of Saginaw, Mrs. Elsie McNichols of Pontiac, Mrs. Erla Leavy of Vermillion, Ohio, Mrs. Doris Cook of Alma, Mrs. Norma Simmons of Gladwin; one brother, Ernest Bollinger of Pensacola, Fla. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Huffman funeral home at Belding with Rev. Ralph Kline officiating. Interment will be at Orleans cemetery.
