The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 2, 1959
Mrs. Myda E. Bolster, 83, died early Sunday morning at Hackers Convalescent 
home in Belding where she had been since July 8.  Her home was on route two, 
Belding.  Mrs. Bolster was born May 29, 1875 at Chadwick, the daughter of Leon 
and Emmaline Berry, and was married October 4, 1893 to Harris Bolster.  He 
died about 19 years ago.  She was a member of the former Green’s Methodist 
church and Green’s Ladies Aid.

Surviving are a son, George Bolster of Greenville; two daughters, Mrs. Walter 
(Reva) Moore of Ionia, and Mrs. John (Vera) VanKampen of Grand Rapids; a 
brother, Luther Berry of Belding; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 
several nieces and nephews.  

The Rev. Frank Gillett, pastor of the Belding Baptist Church, will conduct the 
service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ellis funeral home.  Temporary interment will be 
in River Ridge mausoleum and burial in Green’s cemetery.
