The Ionia County News, Thursday, August 17, 1950
John E. Boltz, 84, died at the I.O.O.F. home in Jackson Wednesday, August 9.

Dr. J. Lee Lewis officiated at the funeral held Friday afternoon from Myers 
Funeral Home.  Interment was in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mr. Boltz is survived by two sisters, Sadie Haynes of Ionia and Emma Strachan 
of Muir, and one brother, Archie Boltz, of Ionia.

Pallbearers were Hudson Lewis, Leon McQuillan, Kenneth Gillespuy, Raymond 
Jennings, George Patz, and Ted Bloomer.
