Bombich-Watkins, 63, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Belding, passed away Thursday evening, Jan. 15, 2015, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Jacqueline was born on Nov. 20, 1951, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of James L. and Nancy I. (Marietta) Bombich. In earlier years, Jacqueline attended nursing school at Indiana Tech in South Bend, Ind. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding, active in the Ava Maria Guild, Sisters in Christ and was a lector at church. She enjoyed crocheting, computer games, reading, cards and bingo. She was married on May 9, 2009, in Belding, to James D. Watkins. Jacqueline is loved and survived by her husband, Jim, and her siblings, Edward Bombich of South Bend, Ind., Susan Hannon of Michigan City, Ind., Gary Bombich of South Bend, Ind., Linda Halverson of Frisco, Texas, Julie (Charles) Hoscheit of Cary, Ill., and several nieces and nephews. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sharon. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding, with Father Michael Cilibraise presiding. Committal prayers will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Belding. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today with a rosary prayed at 4 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
