Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Sep 1971

Mrs. Joyce Bond, 87, died Monday morning at a Detroit nursing home.  She was 
born September 6, 1896, in Greenbush township, Clinton county, the son of 
Varian and Lola Clark Botsford.  She was married to Archie Bond who died in 
1967.

She was a graduate of St. Johns high school, Clinton county normal and taught 
rural schools.  She left St. Johns in 1958 where she was a member of St. Johns 
United Methodist church and went to Detroit.  Her only survivor is a niece in 
Detroit.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home in Muir.  
Rev. Wayne Sparks of Lyons United Methodist church will officiate and interment 
will be at Lyons cemetery.

obituary, and they are typed as printed.  The Lyons cemetery listing on the 
Ionia County Genweb site indicates a death date of 6 Sep 1971 and an age of 75.]
