Bonner, 70, died Tuesday morning in the Ferguson-Droste hospital in Grand Rapids after a lingering illness. Born May 18, 1899 in Muskegon county he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bonner of Grand Rapids where he attended Grand Rapids schools. In 1933 he was married to Mildred Vance and moved to Lyons where they made their home. She preceded him in death in 1943. He was a past master of the Lyons Free and Accepted order of Masons. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Keith Ralya, and a granddaughter, Patricia of Jackson, two brothers, Erwin of Big Rapids and Harold of Mecosta in Mecosta county and one sister, Mrs. Charles Hale of Bradenton, Fla. The body is at Shaw Rivett Hull funeral home in Muir until noon Friday with services scheduled for 2 p.m. at Lyons Methodist church. Burial will be in Lyons cemetery.
