Bonner, 37, was found dead in bed Saturday afternoon at her home in Lyons by her father, Eugene Vance, of Lyons, a former mail carrier. She had been in ill health for ten years. Her husband and nine-year-old daughter were in Grand Rapids at the time of her death. Sheriff Leslie Murphy and Coroner Harry Myers were called to investigate but declared that no inquest would be necessary. She was born December 20, 1906 in Lyons where she had spent most of her life. She was graduated from Lyons high school, Ionia high school and the University of Michigan. She had taught dental hygiene for five years in a school in Cleveland, Ohio before her marriage, September 21, 1933, to Lyman S. Bonner of Grand Rapids. She was married at the home of her parents in Lyons by Rev. Lewis M. Whittemore. She was a member of the Lyons Methodist church. Surviving her is the husband, Lyman S. Bonner; a daughter, Elizabeth, 9; her father. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence. Rev. Lewis M. Whittemore of Maple Rapids will officiate, assisted by Rev. Gerald Jacobs of Lyons. Pallbearers will be Owen Smith, Kenneth Wood, Jack Spotts, Raymond Cutler, Hugh M. Kelly and Park Newcombe. Mrs. Walter Green will be in charge of music and floral arrangements will be in chare of Mr. and Mrs. John Spotts. Burial will be in the family lot in Lyons cemetery.
