Anna B. Booher, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed onto her 
heavenly home on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, with her family by her side.  Ann was 
born June 12, 1929, in Sioux City, Neb., to Lloyd and Margaret (Haubrich) 
Shook. 

Ann married Vernon R. Booher on June 11, 1949, and he survives her along with 
their children, Jayne Bartlett, Kathi (Hugh) Dow-Dunlap, and David (Beth) 
Booher.  She is also survived by her sisters Ardith (Richard) Hart and Audrey 
Burdick; sister-in-laws Melva and Joyce Shook; brother-in-law Durwood (Jeanne) 
Booher; five grandchildren and six great-grand children.  Preceding her in 
death are her parents, Lloyd and Margaret (Haubrich) Shook; brothers, Harold 
and Donald Shook, and brother-in-law Kerwin Booher.

Visitation will be held at Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa on Wednesday, 
Jan. 8, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with the rosary at 7 p.m.  The 
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at St. 
Edward's Catholic Church with Father Tom Buford officiating.  In lieu of 
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Edwards Educational Fund or 
Great Lakes Cares Hospice.
