James Boomer, 75, of Hubbardston, died Wednesday at Carson City hospital after 
a sudden illness  He was born in Lakeview February 21, 1901, the son of R.K. 
and Henrietta Blanding Boomer.

He had lived in Greenville and operated the standard station in Hubbardston for 
30 years.

He married the former Geraldine Trowbridge March 6, 1921 in Yale.  She 
survives. 

Survivors include two sons, Bruce of Lansing and Dennis of Hubbardston, two 
daughters, Mrs. Pauline Cusack of Hubbardston and Mrs. Patricia Barnes of 
Sumner; one brother R.K. Boomer of Gowen, 16 grandchildren and 10 great-
grandchildren.

Services are Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Estep funeral home with Rev. Father Eugene 
Fox officiating.  Burial is in West Side cemetery.  The family will be at the 
funeral home Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
