Boote, 71, well known in Portland, died at his home in Carson City Friday. He was born in England, but came to this country when a boy. At one time he resided near Portland, and his wife, now deceased, was Miss Frances Compton. They were married in 1905. In 1893 Mr. Boote was the official government photographer at the Chicago World’s fair. The couple located at Carson City in 1919. Mr. Boote was prominently identified with the Masonic lodge in that village. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m., and the remains will be brought to Danby cemetery for burial.
