M. Booth, long a resident of Ionia, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jack Vincent, in Ronald, with whom he has made his home since the death of his wife five years ago. He was seventy years old. Mr. Booth has suffered for the last three years from a complication of diseases, and has been failing steadily the last winter, though able to be about the house nearly to the hour of his death. In the old lumbering days, Mr. Booth worked as head sawyer for Colby & Co., continuing this line of work until three years ago. Besides two daughters who survive him, Mr. Booth had many friends who will be saddened at the news of his death.
