Booth, 93, of Ionia, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 11, 2004. She was born on January 7, 1911 in Ionia the daughter of John and Anna (Lorenz) Holtz. Mrs. Booth lived in the Ionia area most of her life and was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, St. Catherine's Rosary Circle, and the Altar Rosary Society. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles F. Booth. Surviving are her children, Charles (Mary) Booth of Ionia, Mary (Bob) TerMolen of Byron Center, Gary Booth of Ionia, Jon (Joyce) Booth of Ionia, Dennis (Karen) Booth of Farmington Hills; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Melvin Fox, Pastor, at 11 a.m. Friday at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Rite of committal will take place at Palo Cemetery in Palo at 2 p.m. later that day. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. A rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church Memorial Fund or to the Hospice of Holland Home, in memory of Irene E.
