The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, July 6, 1962
Funeral for Stephen Page Borden, 88, well-known Muir farmer who died Monday 
morning was held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon at Palo Baptist church.  The Rev. 
John B. Kerr officiated and Mrs. George Tasker was organist.

Bearers were Robert Tasker, Glen Ackerson Jr., Melvin Bingham, Larry Griswold, 
Julius Truesdell and Max Schaeffer.  Interment was at Oak Hill cemetery.
