MRA. DOROTHY A. BORDEN

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy A. Borden of Route 1, Muir, who died early 
Saturday morning at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital were held Tuesday 
afternoon at 2:30 at Myers funeral home, with the Rev. W.W. Pixley officiating.

Rebekah services were read following the regular services by the Palo Rebekah 
lodge.

Interment was at Oak Hill cemetery.

Pallbearers were Earl Ludwick, Max Gibbs, Carl Ludwick, Harold Kemp, Richard 
Ludwick and Jay Miller.

Attending the services from away were Robert Moss, Mrs. Eleanor Truesdale, Mrs. 
Mamie Newman, Frank and Ed Schafer, Mrs. Beatrice Estep, Mrs. Mabel Fletcher, 
Mrs. Howard Sheaffer, Mrs. Max Sheaffer, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Couzzins, Mrs. 
Fanchon Hayes, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Crane and Mrs. Alva Kemp; all of Muir; Mr. 
and Mrs. Don Fancett, Jennie Husted, Mildred Decker, Elvert and Elmer Griswold, 
Mr. and Mrs. Ford Mason Mr. ad Mrs. M.L. Stearns, Mrs. Viola Little, Mrs. 
Charles Aumaugher, Andrew Banta, Mrs. Elliot Millard, Mrs. Lyle Sprague and

Several from here attended the funeral Tuesday of Mrs. Dorothy Borden, Mrs. 
Borden was an active member of the Baptist Aid Society, and was always willing 
to help whenever she could in missionary work or any other activity for the 
benefit of the society.
